Hampshire Structures 'Builder-Plus' Permanent and Relocatable Buildings.

Applications:

Our Build-Plus Solutions are used for temporary warehouses, storage facilities, production halls, retail, showroom applications. Customers choose our system for it's strength, aesthetics, and working environment. The White PVC roof membrane provides a 15% light transmission all over, therefore reducing on lighting costs. The thermal efficiency of our "Thermal Roof" option has prooven to cut heating costs by 50% compared to more traditional single skin cladded systems.

Construction:

Frame : The buildings are sectional in length, i.e: modular on 5m bay centres. The standard eave height is 6 metres, however lower height options of 4m and 5m are possible. The building is made of a series of Aluminium portal frames, spaced every 5m, and joined using roof purlins. The frame system, utilised our Box Beam Keder Extrusion, which permits sectional roofing and many options. All framework is made from Extruded Anodised Aluminium of first choice quality. The alloys used are all of structural grade 6005A, 6082 and 6081 T6. All aluminium parts are surface treated with 15 microns of Silver anodising for longevity. Where mild steel parts are used to create connections for example in the ridge, eave or base plate. These will be made from Grade 43 Mild Steel, and be hot dip galvanised. Ground anchors and connection pins are self colour.

Roof Cladding : The roof covers and gable end are made from PVC Coated Polyester Fabric, which permits 15% light transmission. The membranes are flame retardent to B.S 7837 / 5438, U.V stabilised and Anti Fungus Treated. Depending upon the end application, single skin cladding is acceptable, say for general storage. However for the Storage of Electrical Commodities or Fabrics, Production Halls and Showrooms, we would recommend using our Double Layer Thermal Roof System, which will reduce heating costs by 50%.

Wall Cladding : The walls can be clad in a number ways, the most common options are PVC Membrane (as per roof), Single Skin Steel, Double Skin Steel, and Timber. The choice of perimeter wall cladding will depend upon the level of security you require.

Options : We can provide roller shutter doors for warehouses, personell doors, interior lining, lighting, perimeter guttering and rain water down pipes. Using our other structures we can create architecturally pleasing entrances to showrooms and buildings.

Erecting : the buildings can be erected on most surfaces for example soil, grass, tarmac or concrete. Please note that subject to a ground survey on soil or grass surfaces, to determine bearing capacity of the ground, extra ground anchors may be required. The buildings are designed to be permanent, however are relocatable.

All structures have a standard roof pitch of 18 degrees. Multi-pitch roof options are also available to create polygon shaped roof forms.

Should the desired width not be available, we can undertake a Custom-Build or, link multiple buildings together in the width to create a Multi-Span. Spans larger than 30 metres will be build using our Steel Universal Beam System.
